BEFORE PAYMENT FOR THE JOB HAS BEEN CONFIRMED all rights for the translated materials are property of the translator and the customer is considered as an exclusive licensee authorized to use the translation.
If payment is not made within the set time period and on agreed terms the customer's license to use translation automatically turns null and void. At the same time the translator reserves the right to take any punitive action including turning to the end-client, reporting of such violations against common business practice to the professional community, appealing to consumers and users groups, as well as taking legal actions. In such case the customer will be deprived of all the privileges stated in "OUR POLICY" document published on this web-site or in any other signed agreement or contract. Similar actions will be taken in case of non-payment for jobs of other types.

AFTER PAYMENT FOR THE JOB HAS BEEN CONFIRMED as a rule all rights for translations of technical documentation, official and business documents, private correspondence and other such texts become exclusive property of the customer, if not stated otherwise in each particular case.

ALL RIGHTS FOR TRANSLATIONS OF LITERATURE, SCIENTIFIC, JOURNALISTIC, RESEARCH, AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS ARE SUBJECT TO A SPECIAL AGREEMENT TO BE SIGNED IN EACH PARTICULAR CASE.

All legal disputes arising out or in the connection with a project will be settled before a court of law in Japan and under laws of Japan.
